Centring the adjusting lever

The fine adjustment of the Atmos clock offers more latitude than the original lever stop. On the relevant models, the adjusting lever can be realigned and centred by blocking the toothed ring. However, this procedure must not be repeated more than 2–3 times, otherwise mechanical damage to the torsion pendulum spring can occur! Centring the adjusting lever does not replace exchanging the weights; it only serves as a provisional fine adjustment!
Examine the fine regulation and check which model your clock is.
Depending on the clock model, you will now need a fine slotted screwdriver or a dental pick set from the drugstore.
